What's your favorite kind of pizza? If the answer is cheese, Sept. 5 is just for you because it's National Cheese Pizza Day.
Crust Pizza Co. located at 2121 Millerville Road in Baton Rouge has the perfect selection for cheese pizza lovers. Restaurant owner Fernanda Collins said their Big Cheesy Pizza has pizza sauce and six different cheeses.
“It has mozzarella cheese, smoked gouda, smoked mozzarella, cheddar, romano cheese and parmesan,” said Collins.
The restaurant is dedicated to fresh ingredients from the dough to the cheese and veggies toppings.
“We do everything fresh. Our dough we make a few times a day. We come in the morning and make one batch about noon we have another batch going. five or six times batches sometimes in a day,” said Collins.
To celebrate National Cheese Pizza Day, customers who buy one large pizza can get a second pizza for only $10.
