A Houston-based pizza joint is adding a location to New Braunfels' growing collection of chain restaurants. The pizza company is expanding and already has an I-35 location in the works.
The construction on the new Crust Pizza Co. building is expected to begin in the fall, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.
The renovation of the 1,763-square-foot building will take roughly three months to complete with an estimated start date of October 23 and completion date of January 22, 2024, according to the listing. The cost of the alteration will be around $350,000.
The New Braunfels location will be at 2955 Town Center Drive, Suite 400, New Braunfels, TX 78130. There are 24 locations open in Texas and Louisiana, according to the Crust Pizza Co. website.
The pizza spot specializes in Chicago-style thin-crust pizzas and has been open since 2011. Appetizers include $3 pepperoni rolls, and garlic knots and cheese for $8 each. Crust Pizza Co. also has different salads like Caesar, Greek, and Crusted Goat Cheese, according to the Crust Pizza Co. menu. They have 12 specialty pizzas or customers can create their own.
Crust is expanding throughout Texas with a Kyle location expected to finish construction on January 10, 2024, according to a MySA report. The Kyle location will be at 5140 S. FM 1626, Suite 100, Kyle, TX 78640.
